Dresses and the Downsized Wardrobe

An appropriate (and funny) series of comments on this 333 post at XOJane.  I agree so much that dresses and skirts are so much easier than pants and jeans.  With a dress you just add underwear, shoes, and maybe a sweater and you're ready.

The feeling this gives me is so happy and content it's almost a little perverted. Like, I'm almost sexually attracted to the idea of a minimized wardrobe.
I did sort of a version of this earlier this year. I now wear about 5/6 dresses in rotation. Basically every single one of my outfits is "leggings + boots + dress (+ optional sweater)". I used to have pants but I've lost more weight so no more pants for me. My goal this year is to get a few good skirts, replace my more ragged-looking sweaters, and get rid of allll my other clothes. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of more stuff is because I don't have a washer and dryer and I get paranoid about running out of things to wear, especially with Baby Waterbears smearing half-eaten food on me all the time.
