The feeling this gives me is so happy and content it's almost a little perverted. Like, I'm almost sexually attracted to the idea of a minimized wardrobe.
I did sort of a version of this earlier this year. I now wear about 5/6 dresses in rotation. Basically every single one of my outfits is "leggings + boots + dress (+ optional sweater)". I used to have pants but I've lost more weight so no more pants for me. My goal this year is to get a few good skirts, replace my more ragged-looking sweaters, and get rid of allll my other clothes. The only reason I haven't gotten rid of more stuff is because I don't have a washer and dryer and I get paranoid about running out of things to wear, especially with Baby Waterbears smearing half-eaten food on me all the time.
i've seriously ONLY worn dresses (and skirts) for the past 7 years or so. it makes getting dressed so easy to the point that i can't understand why some people take so long to pick out an outfit.
Dresses forever. I love that I can be 2/3 of the way dressed (undies, shoes & tights) before I even have to think, "OK, now what am I going to wear today?"
Yes! Me too! I put undies and tights on, then have breakfast, then put on my dress last thing before I leave the house. More thinking time plus no breakfast on clothes.
