Thursday February 13
I already posted what I wore out to celebrate my husband's birthday.
This is what I wore to teach.
Grey Wool Dress - Agnona
Black Camisole - H&M
Black Shoes - Ann Taylor (3-4 inch heel)
I also wore a J Crew black wool cardigan in the morning.

You look very professional but i disagree with Joan Holloway's statement 'If you want to be taken seriously stop dressing like a little girl'. Some women will always be little girls and look good dressing that way :). Besides black makes me look awful more like the walking dead than professional. But like i said you look good. I would probably follow you but you don't have a 'follow button' good luck with your 333 project and your blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I guess I haven't added a follow button yet. This is not a "professional" blog - it's just a place to keep ideas - and a few people kept bugging me about blogging again :)! Black is not for everyone and I would not suggest it for most people. I love the website run by Lisa Pippus (there's a link to her old site above that will take you to her new site - Women of Style Berlin). She is great with discussing color and I trust all of her ideas. For me, color is visual noise. I teach 8th grade and have two young boys so I try to eliminate chaos where I can. I do think that once you are not a girl any more, dressing like one is a costume. To have substance and presence in the world, you must dress like you do.
