So far I have worn 29 clothing items (as pictured in earlier posts). About five of the items pictured have been removed from my 333 collection. A few because I decided they are not my favorites and others because they don't fit well anymore. Outfits not pictured are combinations of the other pictured items. On weekends I live in the skinny jeans, AT Loft tunic-like top, and BRepublic sandals or other medium height heels. This outfit won't work for long because I can't wear a jacket or sweater over the tunic top. This weekend I am organizing my 333 wardrobe again based on the challenges detailed below.
Challenges
Weight: I have some sort of intestinal thing going on. So I have to eat a pretty strict diet which is something like the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. It's close to Paleo or a "Clean" diet I guess. Even though I am not exercising, I have lost about seven pounds since the start of the school year (near the start of this round of P333). Things that didn't fit now fit and a few things are too loose.
Weather: August, September, and half of October are usually the warmest months of the year in Southern California. Right before Halloween the temperature drops a lot and November is usually one of the coldest months. (Last year the only two weeks that were really, really cold were in November. It was so cold that the parking lot at work had to be salted and the kids couldn't go on the field because it was an ice lake. I know this is normal for a lot of the country but I live in L.A. adjacent so this is rare.) So trying to find 33 items that work for 100 degree temperatures and 40 degree temperatures, often alternating day-to-day, is difficult. Layers mean more items and I stand for most of the day and my job is physical so everything needs to be cleaned after one wear. That means more items to wear while others are being cleaned. Today is Monday and it's cool outside, probably 60. The weekend temperatures were in the 90's. If my AC or heat is broken (which they usually are) I am either sweating or freezing.
So my P333 is a little flexible right now as I figure out what fits and what works with alternating temperatures and a possible continued weight loss.
